On May 13th 2016 Rev. Jonathan Mumbi, the base Leader of YWAM Livingstone graduated his Ph.D at Louisiana Baptist University. He and his wife Mrs. Jean Mumbi travelled to Shreveport to attend this crowning event of Rev. Mumbi's studies. His dissertation was a treatment of the reasons why Ubuntu cannot be the comprehensive framework for Biblical counseling.

YWAM has a global  Gathering in Kansas City this September. It will be a gathering of YWAM leaders, staff, friends of YWAM and alumni. Pray that many African will make it to this meeting. There are challenges of visas and finances for many leaders, staff, and students alike. Keep this meeting in your prayers!
